OAPA offers a pharmacology-specific conference each Spring and an annual conference in the Fall.  Other conferences are offered when a need is identified.

Friday, April 20

Registration at 7:30 AM with sessions from 8:00 AM – 5:45 PM – includes continental breakfast, lunch and cocktail reception.

7.5 CME hours including sessions on vaccines, immunizations, STD, community acquired meningitis, anticoagulant therapies, osteoporosis and schedule medications.

Saturday, April 21

Registration at 7:30 AM with sessions from 8:00 AM – 1:45 PM - includes breakfast buffet and lunch.

5.5 CME hours including sessions on TB, treating shock in pediatric patients, pediatric developmental conditions, HIV and abdominal pain in children.

THIS CONFERENCE IS PAPERLESS!

Presentation slides will be available on the OAPA website 10 days before the conference and will remain on the site for 10 days after.

A printed syllabus will be available for $10.00 and must be pre-ordered with your registration.

FISCAL AND ETHICAL CONFERENCE DVD

In order for a PA to apply for a Certificate to Prescribe, the Ohio Revised Code Sec. 4730.46(C)(3)(c), requires that all physician assistants obtain a minimum of fifteen contact hours including training in the fiscal and ethical implications of prescribing drugs and therapeutic devices and training in the state and federal laws that apply to the authority to prescribe.

This program has been reviewed and is approved for a maximum of 15.0 hours of AAPA Category I (Preapproved) CME credit by the Physician Assistant Review Panel. Approval is valid for 1.0 year from the issue date of November 1, 2010. Participants may submit the self-assessment at anytime during that period.

**Note: OAPA renews the AAPA accreditation annually**
