Speaker Biographies:
Kate Lee is an Assistant Professor in Marshall University’s Physician Assistant (PA) Program. She resides in rural Ohio and practices as an emergency medicine PA-C. Her professional interests include POCUS, neurology, obstetrics, ECG interpretation, and wilderness medicine. She is currently a Fellow Candidate in the Academy of Wilderness Medicine and a Doctor of Medical Science candidate at the Arkansas College of Health Education. Kate has presented on wilderness medicine and rural medicine topics at both regional and national levels and serves as lead faculty for the POCUS Workshop with the West Virginia Rural Health Association. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys canoeing, white-water rafting, and traveling with her husband, son, and dog, bringing her love for the outdoors into both her personal and professional endeavors.
