PA I Outpatient Colorectal Surgery
Cleveland Clinic - Hillcrest Hospital
The Digestive Disease and Surgery Institute is currently seeking a Physician Assistant for a full time position in outpatient colorectal surgery at Cleveland Clinic's Hillcrest Hospital. Some responsibilities for this position will include: Evaluation and treatment of new, established and post-operative colorectal surgery patients, history and physical exams, surgical care coordination, postoperative wound/ostomy/drain care and management, interpretation of imaging and laboratory testing , procedures (anoscopy, I & D, wound debridement, minimally invasive procedures for hemorrhoids) where applicable. The patient population includes Adult colorectal surgical patients including, but not limited to, Ulcerative Colitis, Crohn’s disease, FAP, Colon and Rectal Cancer, Benign Anorectal Disease and Diverticulitis. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 8-5 with no weekends, holidays or call shifts.
