OAPA Membership Levels

Level Description Price
Fellow Member

A PA who resides or practices in Ohio AND is an AAPA Fellow Member.
Full voting privileges.

$185 for 1 year, or $505 for 3 years
Associate Member

A PA who resides or practices in Ohio.
Full voting privileges except on AAPA-specific issues.

$185 for 1 year, or $505 for 3 years
Affiliate Member

PA who lives and practices outside of Ohio
Any individual who wishes to support the PA profession
No voting privileges.


Supporting Member A practicing physician in Ohio.
No voting privileges.


Student Member Must be enrolled in a designated PA program at an accredited institution.
No voting privileges.

$50 for 2 years

New Graduate Member First year of practice.
Must reside or practice in Ohio. Full voting privileges.
Retired Member OAPA membership for 10 consecutive years prior to making application is required.
Attestation Required
No voting privileges.



* Membership is for twelve (12) months and is renewable on the anniversary date.



Dues paid to OAPA are not tax deductible as charitable contributions for income tax purposes. However, a portion of your dues may be deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense subject to restrictions imposed as a result of OAPA lobbying activities. OAPA estimates that the non-deductible portion of your dues - the portion allocated to lobbying - is seventy-five percent (75%).
