PA - Neurosurgery

The MetroHealth System

Rotating shifts and locations, including weekends and evenings

The MetroHealth System, Cleveland, OH. As the site of the county's most experienced Level I Adult Trauma Center and accommodating a total of more than one million patient visits annually, MetroHealth is an academic medical center for teaching and research and is affiliated with Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.

In collaboration with a physician, these professionals will deliver direct patient care, including identification, management and/or referral of health problem in Neurosurgery. Offering pre-, intra-, and post-operative care, these individuals will be responsible for neurosurgery call coverage with inpatient management and/or OR assist.

What you'll need to succeed::

Required Credentials:

Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.

Current licensure in the State of Ohio.

Neurosurgery or spine experience

Ability to prioritize work assignments and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to meet the requirements/qualifications for clinical privileges with The MetroHealth System within 90 days of placement within position and maintain privileges.

Preferred Credentials:

Trauma or ICU experience as a physician assistant is highly preferred.
