• Describe pathophysiology of osteoporotic fractures
• Identify patients at the highest risk of osteoporotic vertebral body fractures
• Recognize fracture patterns and complications of osteoporotic vertebral body fractures
• Define surgical and non-surgical treatment options
• Apply a fracture protocol to a patient case

Speaker Biography:

Jennifer Sargent, PA-C, MPAS, is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in neurosurgery with seven years of clinical experience in the ambulatory, inpatient, and OR setting. She graduated from Kettering College in 2018 and is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Medical Science (DMSc) at Butler University. Jennifer practices at Springfield Regional Medical Center in Ohio, where she provides comprehensive neurosurgical care. She is an active member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS) and the Ohio State Neurosurgical Society (OHSNS).
